![]() ![]() It is on one such expedition that Seign Kesling, a young and gifted imperial officer, and Nowa, a boy from a remote village, meet each other and become friends. Now, the Empire is scouring the continent for an artifact that will expand their power even further. The Galdean Empire has edged out other nations and discovered a technology that amplifies the rune-lenses’ magic. Our story begins in one corner of Allraan, a tapestry of nations with diverse cultures and values.īy dint of sword, and by way of magical objects known as “rune-lenses,” the land’s history has been shaped by the alliances and aggressions of the humans, beastmen, elves, and desert people who live there. Follows a deep story with 100 characters intricately intertwined.Uses a traditional six-character battle system utilizing painstakingly created 2D sprites and gorgeous 3D backgrounds. Is a brand new, high quality Japanese RPG from Yoshitaka Murayama ( Suikoden I and II) and Junko Kawano ( Suikoden I and IV), in their first collaboration in 25 years. When the team returns and we get out next update hopefully we can see some game footage of this amazing turn-based JRPG. ![]() We know this team is hard at work to bring the best possible game that fans can be happy with. I will say Murayama has been popping in the Eiyuden Chronicle discord after each update and interacting with the community. I know this month’s update for Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes isn’t much. As if the main characters are not the only ones in the play. That would wig me out so I’d play loud music and keep working.Īre they the voices of people living in this imaginary world? I feel that this dialogue is what really helps to build the world. It felt like someone was talking in my ear. There were times when I would be there late at night and, although no one was supposed to be there. I’d continue for long periods in a daze I’d become a father, then a mother, then a child, as I wrote line after line of dialogue. I even experienced staying behind at work alone to write lines for townspeople of different genders, ages, and classes. Murayama went on the explain more about the characters and writing lines when he said: Sometimes fathers, sometimes mothers, sometimes children, sometimes young dreamers, sometimes girls in love, sometimes kids at play, sometimes soldiers protecting their country, sometimes bandits running amok, sometimes cunning merchants, sometimes street performers entertaining people. I have written lines in the past for townspeople in the games that I have been involved in producing. But that doesn’t mean they shouldn’t still have lives to live in the world of the Eiyuden Chronicle. The townspeople and soldiers in the game are not treated in the same way as the “heroes” in the main storyline. I hope to be able to convey the world’s history, kingdom origins and climates using only text and stories of times left behind by those who lived them. We also fought a new enemy recently, the creation of book texts for libraries. We are deep in the middle of a very active development phase, working on a large amount of text related to in-game facilities and townspeople, while also struggling with creating the Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes DLC scenarios. Yoshitaka Murayama wanted to let us know what he has been working on and said this: Thanks so much for your understanding! Murayama’s Monthly Update ![]() This means that this month’s update will be a little lighter, but we’ll be back to business as usual after Golden Week so you can expect a full update in June. We are heading into Golden Week, which means there’s a lot of tasks to finish before breaking up for the holiday. Fans will have to wait a bit for any more information as the team is heading into their “Golden Week.” So we have a very small update for Eiyuden Chronicles: Hundred Heroes this month, which is Murayama’s Monthly Update.īefore we get into the update the team said this: We know it is “supposed” to release around the fall, but with this day in gaming, it’s kind of a wait-and-see deal. A new month means we have another Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes update! Fans have been chomping at the bit to get any kind of video footage or even an exact release date for the game. ![]()
